What's so great about Alanis? Do you really need to ask? She is a great singer, and unlike some artists, her songs really mean something. Such as, you ask? Her song 'You Oughta Know' has to be one of the most emotional songs I have ever heard. Wade is also her twin brother. She started dancing, ballet and jazz, at age 7. At 11, she was on the Nickelodeon show 'You Can't Do That On Television'. With a really bad haircut, I might add (sorry Alanis!). Unknown to some amatuer Alanis fans, 'Jagged Little Pill' was her third album. She had previously recorded two albums in Canada- 'Alanis', and 'Now Is The Time'. Referring to 'Pill', she says, "Most of the songs are, in a roundabout way, actually addressed to myself; there's a certain aspect of the songs that's very confessional, very unadulterated," she allows.
